How does this site work?

UPLINQ is a tool designed to teach you a foreign language naturally by:

- translating selected unknown words across the web immediately

- keeping your collected vocabulary in one place along with its context

- helping you remember the words using subtle reminders and e-mail updates

UPLINQ will teach you languages while you surf the internet. How? It will enable you to extend your vocabulary and understand the relations of words while you continue surfing the internet, reading and receiving information in a natural manner. The meaning of unknown words will be revealed immediately to you and, moreover, you will regularly receive multiple visual reminders to prevent you from forgetting and help you actually remember what you already learned. How to start using this site?

How to start using this site?

After you register and activate your account using the link sent to your e-mail, follow these steps:

- go to "My UPLINQ" > "My Bookmarklet" to select a language and create your custom bookmarklet (see detailed instructions)

- when reading an unknown word on any website, double click the word to select it and click the bookmarklet icon

- optionally interact with the Instant Translation pane to further specify the correct translation search criteria
